Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT washers are tough fasteners made from a nickel-iron-chromium alloy, specifically designed to offer exceptional strength, resistance to oxidation, and stability even at high temperatures. They excel in environments where heat and corrosive substances are present, such as in chemical plants, power stations, and heat-treatment systems. The 800H and 800HT grades are upgraded versions of Incoloy 800, boasting enhanced creep and rupture strength thanks to their carefully controlled carbon and aluminum-titanium content, making them ideal for long-term use in high-temperature settings.
These washers typically consist of about 30–35% nickel, 19–23% chromium, with iron making up the rest, along with small amounts of aluminum and titanium. They provide impressive tensile strength ranging from 550–650 MPa and yield strength around 200–300 MPa, all while maintaining good ductility and oxidation resistance up to 1100°C. Even after extended exposure to heat, they keep their structural integrity and toughness.
