The AWS Class ERNiFeCr-1 MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy, enhanced with controlled amounts of molybdenum, copper, and niobium (Nb + Ta). Its typical composition features around 60% Ni, 30% Fe, 7% Cr, 2.5% Nb, along with trace elements. This alloy boasts a tensile strength of about 760 MPa (110 ksi), along with excellent toughness and resistance to stress corrosion cracking and oxidation. It’s specially formulated to complement INCONEL® Alloy 718 and other nickel-based materials, ensuring exceptional weld integrity in both as-welded and post-weld heat-treated conditions.
