AWS Class ERNiFeCr-2 is a nickel-iron-chromium filler metal that also includes molybdenum, niobium (columbium), and small amounts of titanium and aluminum. Its typical composition features around 66% Nickel, 17% Chromium, 7% Iron, 3% Niobium, and 2.5% Molybdenum. This filler is designed to complement Inconel® Alloy 718 and similar alloys, providing outstanding strength, ductility, and resistance to oxidation. Mechanical properties generally include a tensile strength exceeding 760 MPa, yield strength near 550 MPa, and an elongation of 30% or more.
