Duplex Steel forged fittings are tough, corrosion-resistant components made from duplex stainless steel, which has a well-balanced mix of austenite and ferrite. Typically, the composition of Duplex Steel forged fittings includes 22–25% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 2–4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, all of which boost their corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. These fittings can achieve tensile strength between 620–850 MPa and yield strength around 450–550 MPa, while still maintaining excellent toughness and ductility, even in colder temperatures. The dual-phase microstructure helps them resist intergranular corrosion and thermal stresses, making them highly dependable for high-pressure and high-temperature operations.
