Duplex needle valves are expertly crafted valves made from duplex stainless steel, which boasts a unique blend of austenite and ferrite in its microstructure. This special combination gives them outstanding mechanical strength, impressive corrosion resistance, and remarkable durability, making them perfect for tough environments in industries like chemical processing, petrochemical, oil and gas, marine, and offshore. The duplex stainless steel used in these needle valves typically contains 22–25% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 2–4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, all of which boost both corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Duplex needle valves deliver high tensile strength (around 620–850 MPa) and yield strength of about 450–550 MPa, along with excellent toughness, ductility, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Their duplex microstructure guarantees reliability in harsh, high-pressure, and high-temperature settings.
