The Duplex 2205 Tube Fittings from Themba Nickel Alloys are made up of a mix of iron (the balance), chromium (21%), nickel (5–6.5%), molybdenum (2.5–3%), along with trace amounts of nitrogen, manganese, and silicon. This unique composition gives them remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, especially in environments rich in chlorides and oxidizing agents. These fittings boast excellent mechanical properties, with a tensile strength ranging from about 620 to 880 MPa and a yield strength between 450 and 620 MPa. Plus, they offer high toughness, ductility, and fatigue resistance, ensuring they perform reliably even under extreme temperatures, pressures, and chemical exposure.
